Dr. Liang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgery, World College of Refractive Surgery and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Keith Liang, M.D. earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his medical degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his residency at Louisiana State University-Lions Eye Center, where his training had a strong focus on refractive (LASIK, PRK, etc.) surgery. His research at LSU included participation in the clinical trials of PRK with the LSU Eye Center Excimer Laser Team.
He is experienced in all forms of cataract and refractive surgery and has traveled the United States instructing other eye surgeons on refractive surgery. Dr. Liang was the first surgeon in Sacramento to perform LASIK. As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Liang is an expert on the latest technology advancements in eye care.
